DESCRIPTION LM 301 Contact Oil is a fully synthetic contact oil for micro-switches, switches with low contact pressures and
plugs and connector strips. LM 301 Contact Oil does not contain silicones.

cracking such as polycarbonates, polystyrenes or PMMA, it is advisable to carry out compatibility tests beforehand).

APPLICATION LM 301 Contact Oil is used for lubricating and treating mechanical and electrical components in switches. One special area of application is micro-switches, switches with low contact pressures, plugs and connector strips. The product has good electrical properties, is very stable to ageing and is very compatible with plastics. It suppresses arcing and reduces wear even if the lubrication problems are purely mechanical. The product reduces the risk of current leakage due to its extremely low tendency to carbonise. Not suitable for silver contacts.

INSTRUCTIONS Before treating with LM 301 Contact Oil, the contact surfaces must be clean and free from residues such as lubricants, dirt and moisture. Apply the product as a thin, uniform layer (by immersion, paint brush or spray). Suitable thinners: isopropanol and white spirit.
